In the senior school, all curriculum is underpinned by the SACE requirements and specific subject outlines.
We approach the SACE as a three year journey that students move through, beginning with complusory Personal Learning Plan (PLP) in Year 10, through to the specific requirements at Stage 1 (Year 11) and Stage 2 (Year 12). We treat students as individual learners who are actively involved in selecting their subjects to get the most out of the courses, so that they are fully engaged and develop their skills and capabilities.
Teachers plan learning experiences from specific subject outlines which enable students to gain diversity in experience of achievements at each respective year, and also prepare for future study. As such, learning opportunities are designed to meet the developmental needs of students to equip them with the skills and knowledge to make informed choices about the culmination of their schooling and future pathways.
There are four classes of Year 10 which are overseen by the Year 10 Coordinator and four classes each of Year 11 and 12 overseen by the Senior School Director.
