Annelise Forster a student in 2010 to 2014 at St Mary's College. Passionate about the Arts, Annelise has pursued a career as an artist. She is particularly thankful of her Visual Art teacher for encouraging her when at St Mary's College. Her connections with her friends and teachers are strong, even today. Annelise reflects on the opportunities of camps throughout her schooling. She remembers being on camp, where her and another friend dressed up as Jesus and ran around singing songs. Annelise feels that her teachers have helped her to be more self-reliant and independent, helping her through her university degree.

Annelise feels that St Mary's College has helped her to take new positive steps in life, pointing her in the right direction. Her advice for students is that not everything you want will turn out the way you wanted; you don't have to go through it on your own.

Olivia Quick started at St Mary's College in 2010 as a Year 8 student and graduated in 2014. One of her most memorable moments at St Mary's College was a social justice parade when she and her friends all dressed up together. Olivia became sick at the start of 2012 and missed out on a lot of her schooling. Whilst in and out of hospital Mr Ray told Olivia, "Stop using your wishbone and start using your backbone". These words have stayed with Olivia.

Due to her strength, courage, and determination she was awarded with the Ethos Award in 2013. Olivia was advised to complete Year 12 over two years. However, she persisted and completed it in one year with a high ATAR. A few years later Olivia had a wish bone tattooed on her backbone as a reminder to persist through the tough times. Olivia would like to thank the school for teaching her courage which has shaped her into who she is today.
