Computer Algorithm | 1843

Did you know that the first computer programmer was a woman?

Yes, back in 1843 a woman named Ada Lovelace created the very first computer algorithm. In fact, many early computer programmers were women!

A computer algorithm is a set of instructions which act as steps to tell the computer how to do something or complete a specific task.

Algorithms are written by computer programmers to allow your computer to do the things you want.

Lovelace's original algorithm recently sold at auction for a significant price!
