St Mary’s College Scholarships

Opportunity for All

At St Mary’s College, we have a long tradition of educating young women to act with courage and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. Grounded in the Catholic Dominican tradition, we are guided by a commitment to seeking truth and by our College values of Community, Justice and Growth - supporting each student to discover her strengths and use them with purpose.

Our Scholarships are designed to recognise girls who reflect the spirit of St Mary’s - students who use their gifts in service of others, who act with integrity and compassion in pursuit of justice, and who embrace learning as a lifelong journey of growth and self-discovery.

Scholarships are available for prospective students entering Year 5 and above, with successful applicants receiving a 50% remission of tuition fees.

Our Scholarships

We offer three scholarship pathways, aligned to our College values.

Community Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates their ability to be a community leader and act in support of and in solidarity with others.

The scholarship recognises students who use their gifts to lift others and generate collaborative success. These qualities may be demonstrated through actions in a range of areas such as sports, the arts, social activism, and volunteering.

Justice Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates their commitment to creating a more just and equitable world.

The scholarship recognises students who use their gifts to address injustice, raise awareness of social and environmental issues, and take thoughtful, positive action. These qualities may be shown through initiatives such as advocacy projects, community service, environmental leadership, or work that supports marginalised groups.

Growth Scholarship

Awarded to a student who shows a genuine commitment to learning and continuous improvement.

This scholarship recognises students who use their gifts to expand their understanding, develop their skills, and contribute to collaborative exploration of ideas. These qualities may be demonstrated across any area of the curriculum, including interdisciplinary learning and vocational education and training.
